Clearly Cracked Dish

This dish measures 10 x 1". It was created by taking a hammer to the top sheet of white glass and with one good whack, I was hoping for a perfect crack! Then placing those pieces onto a slightly larger clear base, I filled the void with transparent yellow powdered glass.  Then it takes another 2 days to go through the various kiln stages. 

Holding it up to the light you can see the transparency of this piece... voila!
