White with Glass Stringers - PU IN EDMONTON

Measuring 8 x 8".  This piece has 2 designs within it.  The glass stringers (colored pieces) were fired seperately and while in the kiln, they bent and curled while heating themselves together. Once cooled I placed them on to a white base that had already been in the kiln twice (to fuse and shape the base) to tack the stringers onto the now formed base. The base has a slightly twisted form to it... it has a great unique shape.
